The Melaphoric Folk of

Davey
Strange

Raised in a quiet seaside town, Davey Strange left for London to study art and chase a band. A decade of writing, playing and touring followed, sharing stages with acts he once idolised from a box room back home.

Eventually the city gave way to the coast again — a return meant as a break, spent writing music for film. The songs kept surfacing anyway, settling into what he now calls Melaphoric Folk: melancholic euphoria.
